Ashley Cook

Instructor

Ashley Cook is a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer splitting her time between the Bay Area and Southern California. She has trained in ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip hop, and musical theater dance, all throughout the Bay Area and around the world. She is currently working towards her MFA in Dance at the UCI Claire Trevor School of the Arts, where she continues to teach, perform, learn and cultivate her passion for dance with her fellow grad students. Ashley is a former company member with the contemporary dance company TwoPoint4 Dance Theater. Before dancing with TwoPoint4, she graduated from Santa Clara University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Dance and Communication. She is a passionate and enthusiastic performing arts instructor with artistic knowledge in contemporary, ballet, hip hop, jazz, and musical theater. Her love for dance has bled into a passion for teaching the next generation of dancers with an emphasis on technique, strength, and stage presence.
